“Bee in the Bonnet’ are based in Bourgas, Bulgaria. The band is created in the autumn of 2009. The quartet`s front woman Tedy, has an undeniable vocal ability and stage presence and this coupled with the band`s playing style /rock, pop, alternative, etc./ produces the diverse and memorable sound of “Bee in the Bonnet”.
“ Tick your time and tock the rest of it” is the first album by “Bee in the Bonnet”: and it was issued by the bulgarien label “Amadea records”. At same time, the album was published by I.O.D.A.- a subsidiary of Sony music for a digital distribution of their artists. The music style of the band is with pointedly rock - alternative sound. The band recorded their original stuff at the spring of 2010. It contains fifteen tracks and one acoustic version of one of the songs. They were written since autumn of 2009 till summer of 2010 when the album was recorded.
The band shooted videos of two of the songs from this album: “Stuck” and “Sundays/Gap”.
In the summer of 2011, the band played at the most famous, international festival in Bulgaria “Spirt of Bourgas” for a first time: http://spiritofburgas.com/ .
In January, 2012, “Bee in the Bonnet” band was selected to take a part in the international contest “Eurovision” with three songs, wich was an exeption in the contest. http://eurovision.bnt.bg/bee-in-the-bonnet/
However the band continued the competion with one song and reached to the semi finals.
The band made their second performance on “Spirit of Burgas” festival, in the summer of 2012.
During the same year, some of Bee in the bonnet’s tracks were included as a soundrack into the australien web serries “flat whites”: www.flatwhites.com.
In 2013, the song “Sundays/Gap” was selected between more than three thousand songs to be a part of the newest game on Facebook and iPad “Rockstar Rising”. The game is with the partnership of “Whotune”: http://www.facebook.com/rockstar.rising.game www.whotune.com
In 2013 “Bee in the Bonnet” finished work on their new acoustic album “In other words”. The album is a part of the international project “In other words”. Bee in the Bonnet composed music on the poetry, created by Rui Falcão de Campos. This album contains seven tracks. Four of them are based on the lyrics of the Portuguese poet /tree of them with English lyrics, one of them with French/ and the others, as usual are written by Tedy /vocal of the band/.
