Deezer, thanks to its innovative offer and to its philosophy, meets with a great success, newspapers largely salute the event. Less than two months after its launch, Deezer announces the acquisition of the major record companies’ catalogs including indies’ ones: Sony BMG, Because Music, Believe… On May, 14th, 2008, the website announces the signing of an International agreement with Universal Music. On September, 10th, 2008, Deezer and Warner Music International announce having reached an agreement. On April, 2nd, 2009, Deezer eventually offers the 4 Majors’ catalogs by signing with EMI..
